Summary
I usually like to send emails or texts to my family and
close friends on their birthday instead of sending the messages on Facebook.
However, as I grow older, there are more people entering into my life, so it is
getting harder to remember and keep track of the birthdays. Also, due to school
and work, sometimes I don’t check the calendar, so I have missed some of the birthdays.
It frustrated me, because it is something I really value. So I created a
database to keep track of family and friend’s birthdays. The information can be
added, deleted, or edited when needed. I also designed a Macro to scan the
database and find if it is someone’s birthday. If it is someone’s birthday, I
can choose to send either a text or an email to that person. During this
process, I can modify the default message to a more personal message if it is
needed. If it is no one’s birthday, it would let me know.
