Workflow Manager

Executive Summary
I chose to solve a real frustration I experience at work every day. Currently I work for the company doTERRA as one of nine project managers. We each have multiple projects that we are juggling at any given time and there isn’t any cohesive tool to track the status of all of them. We use a third-party company to develop our software and they have a website where we can go and look at the workflows we have open with them. The problem is that the format they have isn’t very user friendly and it is difficult to only see the tasks that need a project manager’s attention.

This causes problems for the individual project manager who cannot see where their attention is needed the most and for our boss who cannot quickly see how a specific project manager is performing. I designed two separate spreadsheets to solve these issues, one for the project manager and one for our boss to quickly see at a glance how everyone’s projects are progressing and who could take on more work. The overall purpose of my spreadsheets is to organize the available data in an easy-to-read format and visually warn the user when a task needs attention.
