Executive Summary

My brother is in his last year of the finance program at Arizona State University. In addition to his class work, he is also studying for the Series 7 exam to become a certified financial advisor. He asked me if I could create a VBA program that would execute the following steps to help him be more efficient in evaluating individual holdings:

1. Take multiple ticker symbols from a spreadsheet and lookup the financial performance over the past couple months
2. Identify the high and low price over that period
3. Calculate the return in that period
4. Graphically display the stock performance
5. Print the graph and the metrics to a PDF document
6. Save the PDF to a folder on his computer with a clear description of the file and the date it was created
