Financial Statement Analysis Tools

This VBA project is designed to automate financial statement analysis principles and theories learned in ACC 541, Financial Statement Analysis. The program has functions to gather data from the S&P 500 list of stocks, or a custom list defined by the user. Financial data is pulled from Yahoo! Finance. If an invalid ticker is entered, users can use a separate ticker or input financial data manually using the automated user forms. After data is gathered, the user can then perform automated analysis using the Jones modified accrual model and the Altman z-score for bankruptcy probability. The Jones Accrual analysis includes a computation of the top and bottom 20% of discretionary accruals as buy/short suggestions.
