Summary
Many people want to invest in
the stock market. Most don’t have a clue what to invest in. Like many others, I
have spent a considerable amount of time trying to make a fortune day-trading.
I didn’t have any real strategy. I watched a small number of stocks, tried to
anticipate the market changes, and in the end bought shares and prayed that
they would appreciate. This was clearly not the best strategy.
The problem with my
investment approach, and that of many others, is that it is not data driven and
is very myopic in watching only one or two stocks. This Excel VBA project is
intended to monitor, at the click of a button, current market conditions for
all Dow Jones Industrial stocks and recommend potential investment
opportunities.
