Executive Summary

Tahitian Noni International (TNI) is a multi-level marketing company that primarily markets products made from the Noni plant (Noni Juice being the main product). The company has expanded its line of goods into various food, beauty, and beverage products. TNI also provides packaging services for other companies.

The ability to maximize output on production lines and minimize cost is a substantial concern for TNI. This project was developed to give managers a snapshot of how effective the speed and labor of their production lines are. The goal was to easily click a button and give the user s simple dialog asking them what item number they wanted to look at and what time frame they wanted to look at it in. After selecting these items, the program would execute and calculate some summary measures and develop pivot charts with trends highlighted.

This Excel application will eliminate the manual process of sorting, copying and pasting rows of data, and writing worksheet functions. Additionally, some managers are not familiar with how to create visually powerful pivot charts, so this application will not only save time but provide new functionality - leading to better insight and decision making.
